Our Story
Hello and thank you for considering Akoya Weddings & Events for your special Events. I am Debbie and I am the owner of the business.
We are an award winning home based, family-run business. We are extremely passionate about creating beautiful weddings and special events. From venue styling right through to table décor and the finishing touches, we love bringing your vision to life! Within this website and our brochure, we have presented a range of items that we can provide for your big day or special event. It's worth noting that we are continuously update our collection with new additions, so please feel free to ask if there's anything specific you have in mind. To better understand your preferences, we offer complimentary consultations that can take place in-person at our home based cabin showroom in Cliffe Woods, Rochester, Kent. During this session, we will discuss your ideas in detail and prepare a bespoke quotation for you.
We pride ourselves on our personalised service and attention to detail, providing beautiful décor for hundreds weddings and special events since our launch in August 2013.

Wedding Coordination Services
AKOYA WEDDINGS & EVENTS offer Event planning and on the day event/wedding coordination. Whether you want a traditional style wedding or something unique or less formal. AKOYA WEDDINGS & EVENTS coordinator services covers everything you need to have an amazing and stress-free wedding which is special to you! No wedding or event is the same!
The Silver Package
If you're looking for a little more time or guidance along the way, a time bundle might be the best way to go. Think of me as your 'Wedding/Event VA' and book a time bundle, starting with 5 hours, and add on as necessary. These can be used for Zoom power hours to get you back on track (or started!), wedding admin, finding specific suppliers, wedding research or just general support. I have been styling weddings for over 11 years so there is lots of experience there to draw upon!
All hours included in the time bundles are desk based.

Initial Consultation
The fee for your initial consultation is £50 for an hour subject to location.
The Gold Package
This is the service for you if you just need a guide and to just put you in touch with a wealth of contacts in the industry and you book them yourselves. On hand on the day to ensure smooth running.
This service includes:
Advice on your wedding styling & ideas
Up to 3 meetings – One of those meetings to be at the wedding venue
List of the best suppliers in the industry
Liaising with venue
Supporting you with any custom requirements
Order of the day for you to distribute to all suppliers
Confirming final details with your venue and suppliers
On hand on the day for 3 hours (extra hours can be added if desired)
From £599 subject to location
The Platinum Package
This wedding coordinating service is for you if you need a helping hand when it comes to the design and feel of your wedding. As your wedding coordinator, we help style the venue on the day with your DIY items, ensuring everything looks flawless and we will be on hand throughout the day. Taking care of everything so you have a stress free day.
This service includes:
A list of the best suppliers in the industry
Up to three meetings
Up to three wedding venue visits
Catch-up meetings
Management and liaison with all additional styling suppliers
Negotiate pricing with all suppliers
Order of the day for all suppliers
Advise you on the table plan and decoration set-up
Direct liaising with your venue and all suppliers throughout
Finalise all details
Supporting you with any custom requirements
Creating and monitoring your budget
Managing all booked suppliers
On hand for Full set-up of your DIY items
On hand at the wedding until the evening (9am until 8pm – extra hours can be added if desired)
From £999 subject to location.
Diy set up package
Our wedding setup service is perfect for couples who have bought, made or sourced their own wedding decorations, but would like an experienced team to take the stress out of having to display it all. We will take care of everything for you. This will leave you to savour every minute of your special day with your friends and family, without the worry and time constraints of decorating your venue!
Akoya Weddings & Events can style and dress all areas of the venue both indoors and outdoors. This can vary from ceremony décor to dressing wedding breakfast tables with place names and favours. You say what you would like and we will do it for you!
This service can be on the morning of the wedding or the day before. We will work around you and your venue timings.
This service is perfect for:

Any Hotel or Venue if you cannot get into the Suite the night before your wedding
WEDDING SET UP SERVICE INCLUDES:
An initial no obligation telephone consultation
Set up and styling of your own purchased items as per your plan. All décor must be clearly labelled, boxed and prepped for set up. Final layout or décor list required no later than 7 days prior to event.
Unlimited email conversations
Up to 3 hours of set-up and coordination at your venue by two Coordinators (extra hours can be added if desired)
From £330.00* (*excludes travel costs. Set up only not including takedown) A full list of amount, items etc is required to give a full quote and time set up will take.

What's next
Once you have secured your date and venue, please do get in touch to check availability and arrange a consultation. We do get booked up quickly and we restrict the number of wedding's and events we take on so if you know that you would like to use us for your wedding or special event we recommend getting booked in as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Booking with us
BOOKING FEES
- 25% non refundable on booking. Items CANNOT be removed from bookings once secured.
- Full remaining balance including refundable security deposits are due no later than 6 weeks before your set up date.
- Prices stated above are subject to change at any time up to your booking being confirmed with non refundable booking fee paid.
- Delivery & collection charges are 50p per mile return plus any additional road charges.
- Prices include us setting our items up and collecting the following day between 9 and 10am.
- All bookings incur an additional £50.00 refundable damages deposit for décor items plus £100 refundable damages fee for garden games bookings to be paid with the remaining balance 6 weeks before set up date. This is returned 2-4 days after collection as long as no damage has occurred or any missing items.
- Prices include all consultations, designs, cost of our stylists working at your venue, insurance, PAT testing etc.
